Standard Membrane Keypads
BOPLA offers a wide range of standard keypads designed for BOPLA enclosures. When requested, custom-made versions can be supplied at low cost and fast. In addition, BOPLA offers the machining of enclosures and mounting of membrane keypads. Keypad face membranes can be designed to your specifications.
We use exclusively high-quality materials in our membrane keypads, ensuring longevity even in harsh industrial environments.
PC membrane keyboards
PC membrane keyboards are available with 30, 56, 90 or 102 keys, with a tactile action point and embossing. On request, decoders and helix cable are also available separately. Keypad face membranes can be designed to your specifications.
Announcement: Because of the increased standards resulting from the RoHS guidelines, coupled with the fall in quantities, as of June 30, 2005 we will no longer be offering products in the PC keyboard and decoder sector in their current form.
Of course, these can still be manufactured for special orders, but in future calculations and manufacture will be on the basis of the quantity and work involved, just as with other customer-specific keyboards.
Short-stroke Keys
Short-stroke keys for PCB mounting. Key heads are available in 3 lengths, with 3 different diameters, designed for efficient action beneath front membranes. Bases are available with two different actuation forces (1,3 bzw. 2,6N).

Standard decoder
The keyboard decoder`s electronic system recognizes keystrokes at the decoder`s matrix inputs. The decoder converts these keystrokes into key-codes which – depending on the required interface – are transferred to the connected unit in the form of an electrical signal. More keys can be queried via the matrix assignment and using the same number of wires. The decoders are distinguished by a series of common characteristics:
